Shark was likely pregnant. Here is the side-on image of the pregnant sand tiger showing her spots. This was taken Dec 1 on the Aeolus. Water temp was 66 and visibility was 15-20ft. Several larger males also sighted that day. If I had to guess, I would say maybe 4 males for every female.
